Little Machina (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star)

I certainly love to integrate various mediums into my work and I know I am always working towards some particular end, but I never know what that end is until it gets here. Spanning the time between today and they year 2018, my life started to morph into something beyond the status quo and something was taking a hold of me. Instead of shying away from it, I leaned into it, as they say. I learned to trust my artistic process a very long time ago and The Accihte Project marks a significant culmination in the development of my vision as an artist, though it seems to have cost me a lot in many ways, and nothing at all in other ways.

This video merges my visual art with the ways in which my brain sees codes everywhere. The thing that changed me is well known to me now. My life has been treated as though it is something (the last thing?) on the rider (proviso?) for those who are otherwise enslaved to music contracts and therefore are not free to communicate with me on a regular basis. So, instead, they have contacted me under a variety of false personas over this course of time, causing me to go nearly insane with confusion and now that the confusion has cleared away, I am at least able to create something that combines all I have experienced into one presentation, be it ever-so-quickly thrown together. That's what this video represents and if you want to view it on my Accihte Music Instagram profile to hear the accompanying song, please find me -->>HERE. The song is called Little Machina and it was composed on Logic Pro. Alone. No AI.

I am playing with the word BASTARD here, for obvious reasons. A child with no father could possibly shirk all societal expectations and become a star, that is the theme here. And why not? Who has the authority to tell me my dreams and visions are of no value? After all, You are not a God.

I would have loved to share this with my fellow artists under much nicer circumstances, but it just wasn't meant to be. And those of you who tried to shut me down so long ago? Well, I am very glad I didn't fall for it. I am extremely proud of the fact that I did not comprisssssse my vision for anyone because when you compromise your vision, you compromise your message.

And as for the god Astar? A Google search reveals the following:

ʿAṯtar (also known as Ashtar, Athtar, or Astar) is an ancient Semitic deity, associated with the planet Venus (the morning and evening star) and the god of war in some cultures. While the identity of this god varied by region, he was known in Ugaritic myth as a rival to Baal, the storm god, and in ancient South Arabia, he was the supreme god of the thunderstorm.”
